本来このブログではあまり仕事の詳細については書かないことにしていますが、海外からの詐欺アプローチのため色々な人に共有したいと思います（仮にこのブログをご覧の方がサラリーマンであっても常に組織というのはこのような外力に向き合っていることを知っていただきたいと思います）。
管理人の本業のURLは書きませんが、突然中国から以下のようなメールが来ました。
（下図中、XXXは私のURLです）
Dear CEO,
(If you are not the person who is in charge of this, please forward this to your CEO, because this is urgent. If this email affects you, we are very sorry, please ignore this email. Thanks)
We are a Network Service Company which is the domain name registration center in China.
We received an application from Hualong Ltd on October 4, 2016. They want to register " XXXX " as their Internet Keyword and "XXXX .cn "、" XXXX .com.cn " 、" XXXX .net.cn "、" XXXX .org.cn " 、" XXXX .asia " domain names, they are in China and Asia domain names. But after checking it, we find " XXXX " conflicts with your company. In order to deal with this matter better, so we send you email and confirm whether this company is your distributor or business partner in China or not?

かなり怪しいと思いますが、その一方で事業に関連する話であることからやはりトップとしては焦るわけです。
何？ドメインにかぶしてくる？
みたいな。
もちろんSEO的には内容重視であるため本業のHPに関係ないとわかってはいましたが、気持ちが悪いのは事実。
とりあえず、上記の企業とは関係ない、と返事をしたところ、
「ドメインは既に登録済みなだと説得したけれどもXXXXのドメイン登録にこだわって居るようです」
とメールが来ました。
それでも放っておいたところ２、３日して以下のようなメールが来ました。
Dear XXXX,
We have not heard from you since our last comunication. Since your company haven’t registered this name as CN/ASIA domains (.asia/ cn/ com.cn/ net.cn/ org.cn) and internet keyword on the internet, anyone can obtain them by registration. You must know the domain names and internet keyword which applied based on the international principle are opened to companies as well as individuals. Also, we have suggested they should choose another name but they are persistent in this name. As a domain name registrar, we have no rights to refuse their application if they insist. In this situation, we have told you your company have the priorty in registering CN/ASIA domains and internet keyword in our audit period. Could you tell us whether or not your company want to register these CN/ASIA domain names and internet keyword to prevent anyone from using them? If your company need to register these names in china, we can send an application form and the price list to you and help you register these within dispute period.

よくわかるようなわからないようなメールでした。
そこでとりあえずコストはいくらだ、とかいたところ左上のような画像のpdfが送られてきました。管理人のドメインのところは消してあります。
すごく高ければ、
「これは詐欺だ！」
とわかったはずですが、
金額が絶妙
なんですね。
高すぎず安過ぎず....。ビジネス投資としては全く高くありません。
ただどうしても解せないのが、インターネットキーワード登録というやつです。
これはgoogleなどに登録しておけばサーチロボット（管理人も詳しくありませんが）が勝手に探しに来てSEOスコアをつけていくものです（たぶん）。管理人もHPを立ち上げてまずGoogleなどへの登録は行いました。
そこに50ドル以上払う？なんでだろう？
これが最初の疑問でした。
そして極め付けが ASIA YG NETWORK という企業を調べた時の海外の情報です。

上記は一例です。
なんと、ASIA YG NETWORK は
有名な詐欺集団
だったのです。
そもそも論として、ドメイン取得に通知をするということはしないようですね。
いやぁ、驚きました。
危うくお金を払う所でした。
ただ今回の件、個人的に学んだこともあります。
それは、類似のドメインを抑える、ということです。
管理人の事業は極めてニッチですが、それでもURLが同じで.asia、.net、.orgといった他のドメインも今回の件を踏まえて取得。すべて、管理人の本来のURLへ誘導するようサーバー上での転送設定を行いました。
これはこれで一つの大切な教訓であると思います。
いずれにしてもどこの国でも悪い人は居るものです。
管理人は間一髪この詐欺から逃れましたが、これに気がつかせてくれたのは他の国のブログでした。
日本でも今後は企業規模に関わらず海外を目指す方が多いと思います。
